We have an exciting opportunity for a senior project manager in transport infrastructure to join Herefordshire’s Infrastructure Delivery Team. This team, part of the Economy and Environment department, is a multi-skilled group focused on highways and transport projects.

You will help develop and manage a team of highway engineers and project managers to deliver capital projects efficiently. You will also be the senior project manager for the Hereford Western Bypass development and delivery. This includes overseeing the phase one scheme, a £35m+ link road, and guiding consultants on phase two, a £300m+ scheme, including securing government funding and planning permissions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering or be a chartered engineer with significant experience in major transport infrastructure projects. Demonstrable achievements in public sector development, design, procurement, and highway project delivery are essential.
