We have an exciting opportunity for a Major Transport Infrastructure Senior Project Manager to join and help lead Herefordshire’s Infrastructure Delivery Team. The team is part of the Economy and Environment department and focuses on highways and transport projects.
You will be responsible for developing and managing a team of highway engineers and project managers to deliver capital projects efficiently. You will also oversee the development and delivery of the Hereford Western Bypass, including guiding consultants on the phase two scheme, seeking funding and permissions.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering or be a chartered engineer with significant experience in transport infrastructure development and delivery, with achievements in public sector highway projects.
