Job summary

Carrington West are seeking a Senior Project Manager with Major Projects experience in Highways Infrastructure to join a London client on a contract basis. You will deliver major schemes, manage stakeholders, prepare feasibility reports and oversee consultant and contractor work.

The role involves cost reporting, tender procurement, community engagement and works implementation, with flexible working and some home-working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport/highways major projects is essential.
• Delivery of complex highways/public realm schemes is required.
• Experience with design management, feasibility reports and consultant coordination.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager with experience in Major Projects within Highways Infrastructure to join a client in London on contract basis. You will be responsible for the delivery of major infrastructure schemes across the area as well as design management, feasibility reports, stakeholder management and works implementation. Other duties include cost reporting, tender procurement, community engagement, public liaison and consultant management.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £55 - £60 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working and working from home arrangements are available.

Previous experience in Transport, Public Realm or Highways is essential for this role.

Carrington West are also looking for Engineers and Technicians with similar backgrounds across the South of UK.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing a range of high profile highways, transport and public realm projects
• Delivering a range of cycling, walking and traffic programmes to encourage active/sustainable travel across the area
• Overseeing the work carried out by the designated design consultant and the contractor
• Ensuring the schemes are delivered to a high standard and within budget
