Major Loss Adjuster - Financial Lines

Our Claims teams are the proven problem solvers of choice for clients, delivering consistent technical excellence and showcasing our service differentiation to create an unparalleled global claims handling experience. Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership, we take pride in delivering responsive, fair, and professional service with empathy and efficiency.

How you will create an impact
  1. Focus on FI PI, FI D&O, and Commercial D&O, responsible for a portfolio of high-value, complex claims from coverage inquiry through legal liability assessment and quantum analysis, to timely and accurate resolution.
  2. Your goal will be timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution, minimizing indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expenses. You will actively promote and demonstrate the principles of 'Treating Customers Fairly' in claims handling.
  3. Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders as our technical claims expert and thought leader.
  4. As a senior team member, act as a deputy for the Team Manager, provide training, and serve as a technical referral point for colleagues.
  5. Contribute to continuous improvement in Claims by supporting Quality Assurance / Regional Audit processes, ensuring mitigation of indemnity and expense exposure, and communicating developments and outcomes to key stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
  1. Advanced knowledge of legal/regulatory and litigation/procedural requirements for Financial Lines.
  2. Experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and ADR skills on higher-value complex claims.
  3. Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation.
  4. A track record of following up effectively on recommendations from technical claims audits and continuous file handling improvement.
  5. The ability to influence claims and non-claims stakeholders to effectively direct claims strategy.
  6. The ability to assist with technical training for the team's claim handlers as required.
