Job summary

Hermès GB seeks a senior professional to drive the Maison and Lifestyle business, collaborate with architects, interior designers and clients through the purchasing journey, and expand opportunities for Art of Living activities. You will manage events, showroom initiatives, and precinct experiences on-site at Bond Street, London.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a business development or architectural background would be highly beneficial.
• Proven experience within business development.
• Specialist experience within homewares in a luxury retail environment.
• Knowledge of A&D market and upcoming developments.
• In-depth technical knowledge of objects, materials and craftsmanship.
• Very organised, rigorous, and reliable, able to organize work autonomously and to anticipate ahead.
• Experience advising luxury clientele through a human‑centred, relationship‑led approach.
• Professional with ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Client- and service-oriented, with very strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel / IT tools and previous experience of CAD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Maison and Lifestyle business for Hermès GB through proactive identification of new opportunities with clients or for wider interiors projects.
• Contribute to the growth of sales in the Home & Lifestyle Metier and achieve sales goals through a targeted action plan.
• Support architects, designers, interior decorators, and customers throughout their purchasing journey with tailored recommendations and expert advice.
• Work closely with the Client Development Manager to identify new opportunities to expand the Maison business.
• Represent the Maison at key external events, brand moments, and client experiences.
• Creating opportunities within store and provide critical support to Maison activations, animations, and client experiences.
• Ownership of an events calendar specifically for Art of Living activities.
• Utilising the store space as a Showroom for clients.
• Prepare professional documents (presentations) and advise on quotations.
• Follow-up of projects up to delivery and payment transfers.
