MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!!

Are you an experienced Mechanical or Electrically biased Maintenance Technician seeking a new job opportunity, and are you happy working a 4 on 4 off shift system (12 hour days and nights)?

We are actively looking for Maintenance Technicians to join a leading food manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. The starting salary is just over £33,733 per annum, initially rising to just under £39,500 per annum, and then finally increasing to just over £43,500 per annum once fully signed off and trained.

This will be a 2‑stage interview process, with the first stage consisting of a numeracy and literacy assessment on site in Telford, Shropshire. The hiring manager is looking for someone who lives within a 20‑25 mile radius of Telford, Shropshire.

The hiring manager prefers candidates with experience from the food manufacturing, packaging, FMCG or print industry; alternatively, ex‑forces (RAF, Navy, British Army) will also be considered.

What You Will Do
  • Operate and maintain state‑of‑the‑art, fully automated production lines, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Lead a team of machine operators, providing training and driving performance to achieve production goals.
  • Take ownership of the production line, identifying potential faults and implementing solutions to maintain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to refine processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety standards at all times.
  • Conduct start‑ups, changeovers, and follow standard operating procedures to maintain seamless operations.
