Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a student accommodation block in East London. The role operates Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30, with a salary of £35,000 per annum and responsibilities for prioritising work orders and coordinating maintenance tasks.

• To prioritise and manage all work orders and the allocation of maintenance tasks to ensure these are closed off in a timely manner.
• To be responsible for the planning of all the statutory and routine maintenance in accordance with the Property Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• To respond to reactive maintenance in accordance with the SLA and to keep students and customers aware and informed of the status of repairs.
• To carry out repair duties across the site as instructed by the Property Manager or landlord.

Responsibilities

• To participate in a call-out rota as directed by the General Manager or landlord.
• Identify where specialist input is required and co-ordinate the timely attendance of alternative suppliers/contractors.
• To manage the sign in and attendance of contractors and that permits for working are in place including utility companies who need to access the site to read the meters

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08.30am-4.30pm

Salary: £35,000 per annum
