Job summary

Tesco Stores Limited is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Baldock stores and surrounding areas. You will maintain a range of equipment and facilities, prioritising safety and quality while minimizing customer disruption.

The role involves coordinating repairs with external contractors, collaborating with colleagues, and using a tablet for schedules. Flexible working arrangements are available, with emphasis on safe, compliant maintenance and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent.
• Full driving licence.
• Health & Safety awareness.
• Communication & Collaboration.
• Office 365 knowledge.
• Completed all technical training upskilling modules relevant to abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs with external contractors to minimise disruption.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of service.
• Maintain high energy levels while juggling tasks and keeping efficiency.
• Support the management team to keep stores operating smoothly.
• Minimise disruption to customers during repairs and maintenance.
• Support a diverse, inclusive culture.
• Work with a tablet to view daily schedules and manage emails.
