Job summary

McLaren Automotive Ltd. in Woking is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Services team to repair and maintain production equipment at the McLaren Production Centre and Technology Centre.

You will perform reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing plant and equipment, with a proactive approach to resolving issues. The role operates Monday to Friday with rotating day/evening/early/late shifts and an on-call rota, and requires high technical skill and strong

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical or similar discipline.
• High level of diagnostic and fault-finding experience on PLC-controlled equipment.
• Good mechanical systems knowledge (pumps, vacuum, pneumatics, hydraulics etc).
• Experience fault finding on PC, PLC, and electromechanically controlled production equipment.
• Robust experience in a similar role and industry.
• Knowledge of automated control systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Strong communicator
• Can do attitude.

What to Expect

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join our fantastic Services team in Woking. As the Maintenance Technician at McLaren, you will be joing a team who are responsible for the repair and maintenance on all production equipment within the McLaren Production Centre and the McLaren Technology Centre. In this role you will perform reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing plant and equipment. The role requires a high technical skill level alongside a proactive approach in resolving issues and implementing countermeasures.

Monday to Friday day shift, early shift, late shift on a rotating pattern with an on call rota.

What You'll Do

• Carrying out repair, improvement, and planned maintenance work on production equipment.
• Effective supervision of subcontractor activities as required.
• Identification of continuous improvement of plant, equipment, and systems.
