Job summary

McLaren Automotive in Woking is seeking an End of Line technician for the production area to support a seamless, high‑quality build process. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will ensure quality stations run efficiently and issues are resolved to standard.

You will perform practical problem solving, rework faults to standard, apply a 4M method for rapid fixes, and uphold health and safety guidelines, helping the team achieve ambitious goals.

Qualifications

• Understanding of processes/work instructions to deliver a consistent process.
• Understanding safety risk assessments and their meaning.
• Ability to make sound and logical decisions.
• Experience working under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector is required.

What to Expect

As an End of Line technician within the production area, reporting to the Team Leader at McLaren Automotive, you will take on a role in ensuring a seamless and efficient operation is at it’s very best within one of our built-in quality areas, ensuring production continue a consistent, high quality build process.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibility will be practical problem solving any issues found within the quality stations, reworking the fault to the require standard of process, also conducting a 4m method to quickly resolve within our internal stakeholder team. You will also ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered too. Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious goals as a company.

Essential Functional / Technical Skills

• The understanding of processes/work instructions to deliver a consistent process.
• The understanding of workplace safety risk assessments and their meaning.
• Ability to make sound and logical decisions.
• Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Knowledge within automotive sector is required.
