Avara Foods Ltd in Telford is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team at the Telford site. You’ll optimize machinery output, minimize downtime, and maintain high hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The role operates on a rotating 4 on 4 off shift (06:00-18:30 and 18:00-06:30) within a large processing facility. You will lead breakdown response and maintain preventive maintenance programs across multiple areas.

Formación

• Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
• Solid engineering experience, ideally in food manufacturing.
• Familiarity with process machinery and fault finding abilities.
• Mentor colleagues and multi-task in timeline-driven environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead role during breakdowns with technical guidance.
• Carry out maintenance per PPM schedules and corrective actions.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns; identify root causes and suggest improvements.
• Log work in CMMS and communicate issues to engineers and operations.
