Job summary

Adeptus Talent Limited is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for a leading FMCG manufacturer in South Wales. You will join a skilled maintenance engineering team in a modern production environment, carrying out both preventive and reactive maintenance.

The role offers a clear career path to Level 2 and Level 3 engineer roles, with training including OEM sessions in the UK and internationally. Starting salary around £42,200 with progression to £46,600 and bonuses.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.
Proven experience in fault finding and maintenance.
Previous work in a production, manufacturing, or FMCG environment.
Hands-on, proactive approach with good problem-solving skills.
Basic electrical knowledge (advantageous but not essential).

Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance, both planned (PPM) and reactive.
Diagnose and repair faults on production machinery.
Support installation, modification, and improvement of mechanical systems.
Work closely with production teams to reduce breakdowns and improve performance.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to company standards.
