Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Enfield to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across distribution sites. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical repairs, ensuring compliance paperwork is kept up to date.

The position offers a salary of £39,111.36 plus 11-15% LWA, permanent contract, and Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Training and progression opportunities available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
• City & Guilds 17th edition.
• AM2/2391.
• 3 phase electrics and its applications

Responsibilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Respond to Helpdesk service calls and carry out repairs as required.
• Prioritise maintenance to achieve timescales and response times.
• Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance.
• Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.
• Follow purchase order process.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advise on replacements with recommendations.
• Ensure compliance documentation is kept up to date
