Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year in a general maintenance or handy person role.
• Professional qualification in a trade can replace the experience requirement.
• Full driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance tasks and checks on the building, grounds, services, equipment and systems.
• Apply basic fixes to keep facilities fully functional.
• Carry out general maintenance and basic repairs across electrical, plumbing, joinery and building work, inside and outside the home.
• Support new residents to arrange their rooms as they wish.
• Ensure routine re-decoration to maintain the standards of the home.
• Advise on the supply and quality of items used for tasks and order replacement goods in good time.
• Provide out-of-hours emergency cover through the on-call rota.
