Fresh Start Recruitment (UK) Ltd. is recruiting a Maintenance operative for a Mansfield-based manufacturing site.

You will join a double day shift pattern, with transport essential, and an initial temporary contract followed by a permanent role after 12 weeks, with a salary around £32,800 plus benefits. Duties include keeping the machine shop clean, managing swarf bins, topping up oil and coolant, assisting with routine services, running CNC machines if needed, and supporting other departments

Qualifikationen

• Must have basic engineering experience or be a part qualified engineer.
• Effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ensure all work is fit for purpose and to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work as a team.

Aufgaben

• Keep the Machine Shop clean and tidy as directed by Maintenance Leader.
• Empty swarf bins, top up and maintain oil and coolant levels.
• Assist in routine machine services when required.
• Carry out routine housekeeping.
• Pick up and drop off tooling and equipment to local subcontractors.
• Run CNC machines if needed.
• Assist in ancillary departments when required.
• Perform other duties and ad hoc project work.
