Job summary

Priory is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work across Dolphin Lane and Daisy Vale, two nearby sites in Wakefield. The role focuses on keeping the home maintained and safe for residents with learning disabilities and autism.

The position is full-time (40 hours) with a typical Monday–Friday schedule. You’ll work across two sites, ensuring a welcoming environment while coordinating with contractors and maintaining documentation to meet quality and statutory standards.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Technician role across two sites (Dolphin Lane and Daisy Vale).
• Role involves non-direct care but essential support to residents and staff.
• Ability to liaise with contractors and keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Keep the home in top condition, safe and comfortable for residents and staff.
• Identify, report and resolve maintenance or safety issues.
• Coordinate with local contractors for planned and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain inspection certificates and records to meet standards.
• Support the Home Manager to improve the environment and services.
