Job summary
Vestas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the blade production line in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, diagnose PLC-controlled equipment, and administer planned preventative maintenance with a focus on safety and efficiency.
You will join a team dedicated to safe, reliable operation, with opportunities to develop technical skills, contribute to continuous improvement, and work within a global leader in wind
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read drawings, schematics and manuals.
- Proficiency with basic IT and Excel.
- Maintenance-related technical qualification or background.
- Experience maintaining equipment in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment and tools.
- Maintain calibration and measurement equipment and related systems.
- Diagnose PLC-controlled equipment and systems.
- Administer planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support.
- Uphold 5S and maintain safe, clean work areas.
- Contribute to supplier evaluations for maintenance-related equipment/services.
- Work safely and promote a strong safety culture.
