Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role involves repairing and maintaining production machines and support equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime.
• Desire to understand equipment performance and process requirements.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with strong math and software skills.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit theory.
• Troubleshooting capabilities with limited system descriptions.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and safety.
• Ability to operate power tools, forklifts, man-lifts, and work at heights.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Shift: 3rd Shift, 11PM - 7:30AM, Sunday PM to Friday AM.
• Training on 1st shift: 7AM - 3:30PM, Monday - Friday.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on manufacturing equipment and support systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, drives, control panels, ovens, power, and HVAC.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in emergency repairs and oversee contractor upgrades to ensure code compliance.
• Maintain shop cleanliness per 5S policies.
• Manage inventory of replacement parts.

Comments/Special Instructions

The role involves minor repairs such as replacing belts, hoses, fuses, and general preventative maintenance on tools and equipment. Minor building repairs like painting and patching may also be required.

Additional Information

• Overtime may be available as needed.
• This is a temp-to-perm position.
• Interview process includes a phone interview followed by an in-person tour and interview with the facilities manager.
