Job description

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintenance activities associated with single flow production lines, including automatic screwdrivers, robotic pick and place systems, palletizers, and special purpose automatic assembly cells.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

1. Carry out fault finding activities and undertake timely repairs of equipment including PLCs, electric drives, robotics, pneumatics, and automatic screwdrivers.
2. Carry out planned preventive maintenance activities on various plant and machinery.
3. Produce reports to analyze breakdown causes and make recommendations on countermeasures.
4. Support equipment commissioning and installation projects.
5. Strict adherence to safe working practices.
6. Observe and enforce safety rules at all times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Required

1. Experience with PLCs and robotics.
2. Educated to ONC (or equivalent) in an engineering-related discipline.
3. Completed an approved multi-skilled apprenticeship.
