The position is full-time and involves maintaining and repairing state-of-the-art Dematic automation equipment at the distribution center.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the automated materials handling system.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform automated material handling and equipment servicing following quality standards and schedules.
• Undertake scheduled repairs based on manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.
• Diagnose and repair Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, PLC, and PC faults.
• Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
• Ensure high-quality output and accurate record-keeping.
• Participate in continuous improvement and sales opportunities.
• Maintain optimal on-site spares levels.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain good customer relations.
• Follow company quality processes and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ONC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferably completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship.
• Ability to interpret Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic manuals and drawings.
• Willingness to work shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Basic knowledge of control systems and PLC equipment.
• Experience working at heights and with conveyor systems.
• Proficient in IT literacy.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance schedules.
• Knowledge of FEM and BS standards is desirable but not essential.
