CNC Maintenance Technician – £35K–£40K + Company Car + Benefits

Location: North East (Newcastle / Durham / Sunderland area)

A leading CNC machine tool distributor is looking for a field-based CNC Maintenance Technician to support customers across the North East. This is an ideal step up for a time-served machinist looking to move into a service role. The business supplies high-quality CNC lathes and machining centres to manufacturers across aerospace, automotive, medical, power, oil & gas, motorsport, and precision engineering.

The Role:

1. Perform scheduled maintenance on CNC machine tools
2. Diagnose and repair faults on-site
3. Build strong working relationships with customers
4. Follow all internal health & safety and quality procedures
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Time-served engineer with a recognised apprenticeship
• Based near the M1 corridor in the North East
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach
• Knowledge of CNC milling and turning
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain controls (desirable)
• Previous maintenance experience (advantageous but not essential)
