Job summary

Marriott Manchester Victoria and Albert Hotel in Manchester is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to uphold the property’s 148 rooms and public areas. You will perform general maintenance, painting and repairs, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained environment for guests and colleagues.

This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with the team. Marriott offers learning and development opportunities, uniforms, meals on duty, and staff

Responsibilities

• General maintenance & repairs
• Painting & decorating
• Prioritise and undertake reactive repairs, communicating with colleagues throughout
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks and compliance checks
• Ensure Health and Safety standards are met at all times in your hotel
• Proactively share hotel insights with the Operational, Property and Maintenance team
• Working closely with all hotel departments to maintain open communication
