Job summary

The R&A in Bristol is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the engineering team at a commercial static site, with occasional cover across four additional sites. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, perform minor repairs, manage stock, and ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures.

The role offers a 28,000 GBP annual salary, Monday–Friday day shifts (6:00am–7:00pm), a company vehicle, 25 days annual leave, and a competitive pension scheme,

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities or building services environment.
• Good practical maintenance and repair skills.
• Ability to carry out basic building fabric and general maintenance duties.
• Good organisational skills around stock and materials management.
• Proactive, reliable and professional approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic planned and reactive maintenance across a commercial building.
• Complete minor repairs and general maintenance tasks including basic fabric repairs, fixtures, fittings, doors, and other building services requirements.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure faults are dealt with efficiently to maintain smooth site operations.
• Carry out routine inspections and identify any maintenance issues requiring further attention.
• Oversee stock levels and materials, ensuring required parts and supplies are available to support service delivery.
• Support maintenance requirements across four additional sites on an occasional basis.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
