Maintenance Line Technician

Location: Harlow, Essex

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

As a Line Technician in a fast‑paced FMCG environment, you will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of production efficiency, quality and safety. This position requires strong technical expertise combined with key competencies such as attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. You will work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating effective communication, adaptability under pressure and a commitment to delivering consistent results in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Rotating Shifts

Week 1: 06:00 to 14:15 / 14:00 to 22:15

Week 2: 14:00 to 22:15 / 06:00 to 14:15

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production line equipment to maintain optimal performance
  • Perform routine maintenance, adjustments and minor repairs on machinery
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and automation issues promptly
  • Conduct line changeovers and setups according to production schedules
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
  • Record and report equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements
