Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join a mobile team covering multiple sites around Antrim. The role involves carrying out building fabric repairs, groundworks, and basic plumbing to keep sites safe and operational.

The position is permanent, offering a salary of £33,069.86 and a 45-hour week with overtime at 1.5x, plus a pension, private healthcare, and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds in a relevant trade.
• Multi trade background.

Responsibilities

• General building fabric maintenance – e.g. Basic Joinery, Painting, Basic plumbing and minor floor repairs (Tiling and Vinyl)
• Carrying out groundwork tasks: laying slabs, brickwork repairs, paving, kerbs, concreting, tarmac repairs and fencing
• HVAC filter cleaning
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation
• Identify issues beyond repair, survey and provide recommendations
• Work with the wider team to uphold site standards

My client is on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician to join the team.

You’ll carry out a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including building fabric repairs, groundworks, and basic plumbing. You’ll ensure all assigned sites remain safe, compliant, and operational. The role is mobile and will cover a number of sites.

Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Technician

• General building fabric maintenance – e.g. Basic Joinery, Painting, Basic plumbing and minor floor repairs (Tiling and Vinyl)
• Carry out hard landscaping/groundwork tasks: laying slabs, minor brickwork repairs, block paving, kerbs, concreting, tarmac repairs and fencing
• HVAC filter cleaning
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation
• Identify issues beyond repair, undertake survey and escape with recommendations
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to uphold site standards
