Job summary

LGH Hotels Management is seeking a practical and dependable Hotel Maintenance Team Member to help keep the Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport running smoothly for guests and colleagues. This hands‑on role involves maintenance tasks from painting bedrooms and public areas to responding quickly to emergencies, with a focus on safety and quality.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Day-to-Day Maintenance Support

• Carry out maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel, primarily painting in guest bedrooms and public areas.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, resolving issues efficiently and calmly.

Preventative Care & Attention to Detail

• Assist with routine inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, spotting issues early and helping prevent disruption.
• Support the delivery of preventative maintenance programmes that keep everything working as it should.

Safety, Care & Standards

• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety guidelines and procedures.
• Take pride in maintaining clean, tidy, and safe working areas at all times.

Teamwork & Communication

• Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and wider hotel team, supporting tasks and projects as required.
• Assist with coordinating contractors and suppliers, helping ensure work is completed to a good standard and within agreed timescales.

Records & Responsibility

• Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and any relevant costs.
• Communicate clearly about issues identified, actions taken, and follow-up required.
