Job summary

Harbour Hotels Group in Guildford is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to maintain and repair facilities across our luxury hotels. You will handle painting, decorating, electrical, joinery and plumbing, and liaise with external contractors to ensure repairs are completed promptly.

This full-time role covers 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday with a rotational Saturday, and includes meals on duty, employee discounts, and ongoing training to progress within Harbour Hotels.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic maintenance: painting, decorating, electrical, joinery and plumbing.
• Ability to liaise with outsourced contractors and suppliers.
• Willingness to work 8-hour shifts Monday–Friday with rotational Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hotel facilities as directed.

• Assist in maintaining spa/pool areas where required.

Job description

The role…

We are currently recruiting for an excellent Maintenance Team Member to join the team.

As part of the Maintenance team you will be confident in all basic maintenance skills including painting, decorating, electrical, joinery and plumbing. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be someone who is organised in their work and reacts quickly and effectively when required.

Working as part of a team, you will be required to liaise directly with outsourced contractors and suppliers. Previous experience of working within a leisure environment including working with spas and swimming pools would be desirable but not mandatory.

As part of our maintenance team you will be working to support covering the department over 8 hour shifts, your role will be based around a Monday to Friday shift based with the rotational Saturday between the team.

Full time position.
