Job summary

The QHotels Collection is seeking a Maintenance Assistant at Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa in Cambourne, just 7 miles from Cambridge. You will support the Maintenance Manager, carry out various tasks, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

You'll work daily with all departments, prioritising health and safety issues, and you’ll help resolve maintenance requests with initiative and a practical problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in any trade.
• Ability to take initiative with a practical approach to problem solving.
• High attention to detail.
• Know what good looks like.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager with daily tasks to maintain a safe guest and staff environment.
• Collaborate with all departments and address maintenance issues prioritizing Health & Safety.
• Respond to issues promptly to ensure security and smooth hotel operations.

What will I do?

To assist the Maintenance Manager in carrying out various tasks, ensure a safe environment for guests, visitors, and team members. You will work together daily with all departments and deal with any maintenance issues raised, giving priority to those issues that compromise Health & Safety and security.
