Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader for a Burgess Hill-based role. You will head a small team, perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on flight simulators and associated systems, and drive repairs and diagnostics to keep operations ready for training.

Ideal candidates have hydraulics/pneumatics experience, ownership of test schedules, and a drive to mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Lead Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience heading a small team and coordinating maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on simulators and systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair system faults to ensure high availability.
• Run and check qualification test guides and maintain safety procedures.
• Train junior technicians and share technical knowledge.

Maintenance Team Leader (Hydraulics / Pneumatics)

Are you a Maintenance Team Leader or similar, with prior experience working on both Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, looking to join a leading aerospace business, taking on a highly autonomous role, heading up a small team as the technical expert?

In this role, you will be responsible for planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on simulators and systems, diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing system faults. You will also run and check qualification test guide schedules alongside working with risk assessments, method statements, COSHH and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Finally, you will assist in training junior technicians.

This role would suit a Maintenance Team Leader and/or an Ex-Forces Leaver or similar, with prior experience working on hydraulics and/or pneumatics systems, looking to further their career and become a technical experts on flight simulators.

The Role:
