Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Lead Service Engineer for flight simulators in Burgess Hill. You will head a small technical team, owning hydraulics and pneumatics maintenance and ensuring high availability of simulator systems.

This highly autonomous role offers progression, extensive in-house training on simulator systems, and a family-feel environment within a respected aerospace business. You will mentor junior technicians and contribute to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining simulators and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Experience leading a small technical team is preferred.
• Autonomy in a fast-growing aerospace environment is desirable.

Lead Service Engineer (Flight Simulators / Ex Forces)

Are you a Lead Service Engineer or similar, with prior experience working on both Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, looking to join a leading aerospace business, taking on a highly autonomous role, heading up a small team as the technical expert?

In this role, you will be responsible for planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on simulators and systems, diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing system faults. You will also run and check qualification test guide schedules alongside working with risk assessments, method statements, COSHH and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Finally, you will assist in training junior technicians.
