Maintenance Team Leader, Ibstock, £58,000 + Annual bonus Circa £2k, 10% company pension, option to purchase shares, opportunity to buy and sell additional holiday.

Shifts - 4 on 4 off 5 on 5 off Days & Nights.

About us

ATA is working with a large manufacturing group, who are looking for an experienced maintenance team leader to join their team at their flagship site in Leicestershire. The company, which has a turnover of circa £450m across 30+ sites, has a fantastic reputation within their market space. The site is relatively new, operational for only 6 years, hosting state-of-the-art machinery. This site is led by a diverse and down-to-earth plant manager, alongside an experienced operations team. This opportunity is ideal for a maintenance team leader seeking stability and long-term employment.

About the role

As a Maintenance Team Leader, you will lead a team of Shift Maintenance Engineers.

Responsibilities will include:

• Planning the team’s maintenance work
• Supporting shutdown periods management
• Assisting with complex problem solving and breakdowns
• Conducting root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and project management
• Managing external contracts and onsite contractors
• Overseeing health and safety alongside a SHE coordinator
• KPI management

About you

To be considered, you should have:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (beneficial)
• Previous experience as a maintenance team leader or senior engineer
• Proven ability to lead a team to achieve KPIs
• Experience managing health and safety, including completing RAMS
• Ability to work under pressure and make confident decisions
• Level 3 engineering qualification and time served
