Location: Near Driffield
Salary: £46,600+
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time | Monday Friday, 8 AM 4 PM
Staff Power Group is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing client for a Maintenance Team Leader near Driffield.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage the mechanical maintenance of all site operations and equipment, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient plant performance.
About The Role
As Maintenance Team Leader, you will:
- Oversee planned and preventative maintenance across the site.
- Lead a small team to ensure minimal downtime and maximum equipment reliability.
- Use predictive maintenance techniques and the CMMS system to monitor and track activity.
- Identify, report, and resolve mechanical faults quickly to reduce breakdowns.
- Champion continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety, Environmental, and industry regulations.
- Manage spare parts, tools, and ensure all maintenance is completed within budget.
What Were Looking For
- Time-served apprentice in a mechanical discipline.
- BTEC National/NVQ (or equivalent) qualification.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
- Strong background in maintaining heavy plant machinery.
- Hands-on skills in machining, welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Experience using CMMS systems.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Solid understanding of Safe Systems of Work, SOPs, and risk assessments.
