Maintenance Team Leader

What You Will Do:

1. Lead a dedicated engineering and maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation and continual improvement of our unique production site.
2. Coordinate contracted services for specialist maintenance activities, ensuring efficiency and quality.
3. Oversee the procurement and installation of new plant and equipment, contributing to the company's growth and innovation.
4. Design bespoke tooling and equipment for use in our specialist machinery, utilizing your skills in AutoCAD and other computer software (not essential).
5. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental obligations, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of safety.
6. Work collaboratively with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues, demonstrating excellent fault-finding skills.

What You Will Bring:

1. Proven experience in an industrial or engineering background, with a strong mechanical engineering knowledge.
2. Exceptional fault-finding and problem-solving skills, able to tackle challenges head-on.
3. Proficiency in computer software, including AutoCAD (not essential) and general office products.
4. (Desirable) Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs, though full training will be provided.
5. A commitment to continuous learning and development, particularly in Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
