Job Opportunity: Maintenance Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a contract/permanent Maintenance Surveyor position in West London, covering the Kensington and Chelsea areas, with a Local Authority.

Working Arrangements:

*** 2 days in the office, with the remaining days spent between home and site visits. ***

Main Responsibilities:

1. Specify voids and ensure contractors and in-house DLO meet targets for property handover.
2. Monitor and ensure the quality and standards of voids are maintained.
3. Use a handheld device (PDA) to inspect void rooms according to NAT Fed schedule of rates, capturing photos during inspections.
4. Collaborate with Voids and Lettings Manager to review variations and approve invoices, ensuring charges are accurate.
5. Experience required: working as a surveyor within social housing, especially on Voids and refurbishment projects.
