Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods Poultry requires a Maintenance Support role on a fixed-term basis for 3 months to support GMP and engineering standards. You will capture CMMS activities, monitor scheduled works and help sustain high housekeeping across site services areas.

The role involves completing maintenance tasks, adhering to Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and collaborating with site leadership to uphold Cranswick Environmental and Energy policies.

Responsibilities

• Capture works completed on the site CMMS (Shire) and monitor scheduled works.

• Complete site improvement and maintenance works including quality, fabrication and pest control actions.
• Adhere to site leadership requests and health and safety requirements.
• Work with the management team to promote food safety, environmental and energy policies.

The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the continued improvement of GMP, engineering standards and compliance in line with current KPI’s

Main Responsibilities:

• Capture works completed on the site CMMS (Shire). Monitor the site CMMS for scheduled works
• Maintaining and improving house keeping standards in site services areas
• Complete site improvement and maintenance works inclusive of quality, fabrication and pest control actions
• Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post
• Any other reasonable requests made by site leadership
• Understand and adhere to personal responsibilities with regard the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
• Use of powered hand tools
• Effectively communicate within the team and rise any issues to management
• To work in an Environmental and Energy efficient manner and to respect and honour the sentiment of the Cranswick Environmental and Energy policies and Second Nature principles.
• To work in partnership with the Management team on site to be part of the Culture of the site which drives Food Safety, H&S, Ethical, Environmental and Energy behaviors.

This is fixed term contract for the duration of 3 months.
