Job Overview

Peabody Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Service Manager) to join its property management team at an apartment community in Salem, MA.

The Supervisor role involves evaluating and responding to a broad range of maintenance needs to ensure efficient community operations. The ideal candidate is honest, self-directed, organized, capable of multitasking, and works well with both colleagues and residents.

Requirements
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Prior experience in facilities maintenance
  • On-call availability for emergencies
  • Skilled in routine apartment maintenance and administrative tasks related to vendors/contractors
  • Timely response and resolution of maintenance issues
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license
  • At least 5 years of related experience in facilities maintenance and supervision, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and overseeing capital projects
