Job summary

efab resourcing ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support the Engineering Manager in daily operations at a busy Scunthorpe facility. You will lead the maintenance team, plan workload, and ensure maintenance activities maximise uptime while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role focuses on technical leadership, proactive planning, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with clear progression avenues into leadership and automation

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan workload and schedule maintenance with the Engineering Manager.
• Lead the maintenance team to complete planned and reactive tasks.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programmes to maximise uptime.
• Coordinate with production to minimise disruption.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Support fault finding on manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with suppliers for parts and services.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety policies.
• Communicate priorities and updates across the engineering team.
• Develop leadership pathways for future progression.
