Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Facilities) in Rotherham to lead a facilities team within a warehouse environment. You will oversee day-to-day operations, split between office and floor, and be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to support the supply chain for a large household-name company.

Salary starts at £47,000 with a year 2 rise to £50,000, plus 33 days holiday, a 4% pension, and additional company benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as Maintenance Supervisor/Team Lead or similar in a facilities role.
• Proven ability to manage a small team of engineers.
• Experience developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, split between office and shop floor.
• Lead a team of 6 Facilities Maintenance Engineers.
• Develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance (PPM) strategies.
• Coordinate 45-hour week with flexible start/finish times.

Are you a Maintenance Supervisor/Team Leader or similar from a facilities background, looking to join one of the largest companies within the UK?

Are you looking to further your career in a role where you can make an impact and be accountable for day-to-day operations, whilst managing 6 engineers?

In this role you will lead a facilities section within a warehouse / distribution environment and will be integral to the supply chain of this household name. You will be split between office-based and on the floor, planning and managing all scheduling along with general day to day operations of the maintenance function.
