NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Band 5) in the Estates Division, based at NHS Tayside, Royal Victoria Hospital. The post is permanent and involves supervising staff, planning maintenance activities, and coordinating trades across NHS sites.
Applicants should have a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications and experience in supervising maintenance work. Travel between NHS sites and an on-call rota are required.

An opportunity has arisen for the post of Maintenance Supervisor to join our Estates Team within NHS Tayside, based at Royal Victoria Hospital to assist the Maintenance Manager(s) to meet the operational and (where required) strategic objectives within NHS Tayside
Minimum requirements for the post are a recognised Apprenticeship, HNC or ONC, City & Guilds, SVQ/NVQ`s with relevant experience.
To directly Supervise staff under their remit, monitoring timekeeping and discipline, time sheets and job dockets, compiling wage sheets and holiday requests, and recording sickness and absence. Issue and control job request / card distribution and return, recording all appropriate information and authorising /sign for all changes, co-ordinating the work of different trades, to ensure work is carried out effectively.
Plan maintenance activities (including staff rotas and overtime works) allocating staff, materials and transport, and assist in minor work planning and preparation of materials lists.
Participation in an on call rota and the ability to travel between NHS sites are required.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Inductions standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
