An opportunity has arisen for the post of Maintenance Craftsperson (Mechanical Fitter) based at Perth Royal Infirmary (x3), with regular travel and work at other sites within Tayside.
Recognised and registered EITB or CITB (or equivalent) craft apprenticeship plus HNC/ ONC/BTEC Mechanical Engineering or City and Guilds 205 Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Part 2 or City and Guild 214 Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Part 2 or Equivalent Approved Qualification, or in special circumstances equivalent experience.
The post holder will act as a fully trained and certificated Mechanical Fitter to provide mechanical maintenance services to meet the needs of the Estate service provision.
To install, repair, modify and maintain mechanical equipment within all properties of the Organization in order that the equipment can carry out its intended purpose safely, and to ensure the smooth operation of the mechanical systems within the Organisation.
Participation in an out of hours on call rota are required.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Inductions standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
