Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor for our client’s Chard-based manufacturing plant. You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and promote a safe, reliable operation across facilities.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong mechanical/electrical fault-finding skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance within manufacturing or engineering, supervisory or team-leader role.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance and SMMS systems.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the maintenance team, allocating work and promoting positive team culture.
• Manage planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive breakdowns.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded using the Agility CMM system.
• Coordinate servicing schedules, equipment inspections and statutory compliance checks.
• Liaise with contractors, manage spare parts and support the installation of equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Promote high standards of Health & Safety and ensure compliance across all maintenance activities.

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer ready to take their next step into leadership, or an established Maintenance Supervisor looking for your next challenge?

We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our client in Chard's maintenance team and play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing plant and facilities operate safely, efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the maintenance team, allocating work and promoting positive team culture
