Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment in Cardiff is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multi-skilled maintenance team and drive safety across all maintenance activities. You will coordinate planned and reactive work with operations and engineering, lead breakdown recovery, and apply root cause analysis and reliability methods to improve uptime and asset performance.

The role requires strong process safety knowledge, CMMS/ERP experience, and a proven leadership record in a manufacturing/chemical

Qualifications

• HNC or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Significant maintenance and reliability experience in large process/manufacturing environments.
• Proven people leadership in maintenance or engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of rotating and static equipment in hazardous environments.
• Knowledge of DSEAR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, pressure systems, and permit-to-work.
• Familiarity with process safety concepts such as MOC and mechanical integrity.
• Experience with CMMS and ERP systems.
• NEBOSH General, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or project management experience preferred.

• Resource and deliver shutdown and turnaround work.
• Manage contractors and monitor their performance on site.
• Support capital and asset improvement projects.
• Maintain statutory inspections, workshop, and maintenance documentation.
