Maintenance Supervisor

Type: Full Time Permanent

Location: Birmingham

Hours: Day Shift Monday to Friday

Basic Salary: GBP40,000.00 to GBP50,000.00 Per Annum

Company Overview

Our client is the world's leading manufacturer established for over 50 years. Due to growth plans, they are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor proficient in brazing, soldering, bench fitting, induction heating furnaces, and inductor coils.

Responsibilities:

• Quoting work to be carried out
• Assisting sales team with accurate quoting and site visits as required
• Identifying material requirements
• Performing brazing, soldering, bench fitting, and working with induction heating furnaces and inductor coils
• Identifying machining and fabricating requirements
• Determining tooling needs
• Ordering non-standard parts and materials
• Liaising with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders
• Controlling budgets during job progress
• Ensuring quality standards are met
• Promoting safe working practices
• Performing general administrative duties related to the role

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous supervisory, team leader, or workshop manager experience in brazing, soldering, bench fitting, induction heating, and inductor coils
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, including international customers and suppliers
• Strong mechanical or engineering background with proficiency in relevant skills
