Job summary

Barry Callebaut AG seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the plant's maintenance calendar, align work with the production schedule, and lead a team of technicians as needed. Tasks are prepared with kitting and documentation, serving as the link between Planning and Operations to minimize disruptions.

The role requires manufacturing maintenance experience, strong scheduling and leadership, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician or maintenance coordinator in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of maintenance scheduling, resource management, and asset availability.
• Proficient in using CMMS or scheduling systems to manage tasks.
• Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for the plant.
• Coordinate timing of maintenance by assigning technicians based on availability and skill sets.
• Align maintenance with production plans to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Serve as gatekeeper for emergency production calls and adjust schedules as needed.
• Monitor availability of equipment, parts, technicians, and other resources to complete tasks on time.
• Maintain technicians' calendar and skills in the CMMS.
• Track maintenance activity completion and keep records up to date.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing scheduling data to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to ensure safety, environmental, and food safety standards.
