Job summary

Jobtailor UK is seeking a maintenance strategy specialist to develop, implement, and oversee maintenance plans for our Qwello UK charging infrastructure. You will collect and analyse data to deliver actionable insights, coordinate with the technical service team and external partners, and drive improvements in operational efficiency.

The role requires an analytical mindset, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with local UK travel. Linux knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a degree in electrical engineering or software engineering, or have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience with maintenance planning and root cause analysis is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel across the UK.

Job description

Develop, implement and oversee the operation and maintenance strategies for our Qwello UK charging infrastructure
Use your analytical mindset to identify priorities and areas of improvement
Collect and analyse data to generate actionable insights and comprehensive reports
Manage the interactions with the internal technical service team
Collaborate in the implementation of service and construction measures to improve operational efficiency
Coordinate with external companies to ensure high quality and timely execution of tasks
Proactively share your expertise and insights to elevate the team’s knowledge and performance
Facilitate seamless collaboration between the technical service team, parent company and management
Create and implement maintenance processes
Provide support to project managers

Requirements

Degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Initial EV experience is desirable, but not essential
Ability to conduct root cause analysis for all maintenance-related issues
Excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Analytical mindset with the ability to effectively communicate insights in writing
Ability to self-organise and lead in an environment of changing priorities; willingness to work on multiple tasks/content switching
Willingness to travel throughout UK
Fluency in written and spoken English, additional language knowledge is a plus
Qualified electrician with Level 3 electrical installation qualification and 18th Edition BS 7671 is a plus
Linux knowledge would be a plus
