Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Plumber to perform preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, testing, installation and fault finding on plumbing and mechanical systems at a Coalville site.

The role involves supporting general building maintenance, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently, and providing basic plumbing guidance to colleagues as required.

Qualifications

• Plumbing knowledge and maintenance practices required.
• Experience in a maintenance plumbing role preferred.
• Strong attention to safety and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, installations, replacements, testing and fault-finding on water supply and distribution systems.
• Install water systems, pipework and fixtures per drawings, specs and standards.
• Maintain waste and vent pipe systems with drain rods, plungers and jet washers.
• Support contractors and on-site teams with plumbing expertise during projects.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections and preventative maintenance including backflow devices when certified.
• Respond to emergencies and breakdowns promptly.
• Provide guidance and basic plumbing training to maintenance colleagues.
• Undertake general building maintenance duties as directed.
