Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Beeston, Nottingham, is seeking a Maintenance Plumber to join our team. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, testing, installation and fault-finding on plumbing and mechanical systems across the facility.

You will support general building maintenance, respond to emergencies, and help train colleagues in basic plumbing. The role requires NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, and a proven track record in maintenance

Qualifications

NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing.
Previous experience in a maintenance plumbing role.
Knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance practices.
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Flexible approach with a strong customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

Carry out repairs, installations, and fault-finding on water systems.
Install water systems, pipework and fixtures per drawings and standards.
Maintain waste and vent pipe systems using drain rods, plungers, and jet washers.
Support on-site teams with plumbing expertise during projects.
Complete PPM tasks including backflow devices where certified.
Respond to emergency call-outs and breakdowns promptly.
Ensure all work aligns with health and safety requirements.
Provide guidance and basic plumbing training to colleagues.
Carry out general building maintenance duties as directed.
Undertake other duties as requested by management.
