Maintenance Plumber

Location: Derby (on client site Rolls-Royce)

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

What this job involves:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join our Facilities Management team in Derby. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in Rolls-Royce’s buildings managed by JLL. Collaborate with our maintenance teams to ensure all plumbing systems operate efficiently and comply with UK building regulations and safety standards. You will have the autonomy to solve complex plumbing issues and contribute to our culture of excellence in facilities management.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing fixtures, pipes, and related equipment across the Derby sites.
• Responding to emergency plumbing situations and troubleshooting issues to minimize disruption.
• Conducting regular preventive maintenance on plumbing systems, including drains, water lines, and sanitary systems.
• Collaborating with other maintenance professionals to address building systems issues.
• Documenting all maintenance activities, parts used, and follow-up recommendations in our facility management system.
• Ensuring compliance with UK Water Regulations, Building Regulations Part G, and safety standards.
• Communicating effectively with property managers and tenants regarding plumbing issues and resolutions.

Required qualifications:

• Knowledge of UK plumbing regulations and health and safety requirements
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and building plans
• Full UK driving license
