Maintenance Plumber

Location: Derby (on client site Rolls-Royce)

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join our Facilities Management team in Derby. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in Rolls-Royce’s buildings managed by JLL. Collaborating with our maintenance teams, you'll ensure all plumbing systems operate efficiently and meet UK building regulations and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and related equipment across Derby sites.
• Respond to emergency plumbing issues and troubleshoot to minimize operational disruptions.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on plumbing systems, including drains and water lines.
• Work with other maintenance professionals to resolve integrated building system issues.
• Document all maintenance activities, parts used, and follow-up actions in our management system.
• Ensure compliance with UK Water Regulations, Building Regulations Part G, and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with property managers and tenants regarding plumbing matters.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent
• Valid Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) certification
• Knowledge of UK plumbing regulations and safety requirements
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and building plans
• Full UK driving license
• Experience with computerised maintenance management systems
• Understanding of sustainable plumbing practices and water efficiency measures
