Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Planning Administrator at our Darlington Head Office. You will coordinate vehicle maintenance, keep detailed servicing records and liaise with technicians to ensure fleet reliability.

The role requires strong organisational skills, IT aptitude and a customer-focused approach to keep customers informed and uphold safety standards. Hybrid working available after probation, 37.5 hours per week.

Location:Darlington, with the option for hybrid working after successfully completing probation.
Contract:Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
Salary: £24,852.68 per annum.

As a Maintenance Planning Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of our maintenance operations, ensuring our fleet is safe, reliable, and ready for action. Your responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling and coordinating routine and emergency vehicle maintenance.
• Managing records of servicing, repairs, and inspections.
• Liaising with technicians, suppliers, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitoring compliance with safety and legal standards.
• Keeping our customers informed about their vehicles’ status.
